Flowers Chakras

The series was born from an artistic reflection that began more than 15 years ago, when I started associating the funerals I attended with the flowers that accompanied those who departed. From that experience, I sensed that flowers expressed far more than physical beauty or fragrance: they carried an energy capable of transcending the visible, evoking memories, emotions, and an almost supernatural dimension.

Although life circumstances led me away from art and into the commercial world, that inner restlessness never disappeared. Over time, I returned to flowers through photography, drawings, interventions, and digital illustrations, until I rediscovered them as the central axis of my work. Inspired by the concept of chakras from Hindu tradition, I incorporate energetic points and symbolic figures to fuse the plastic with the graphic, the visible with the invisible. The use of black and white, interrupted by the emergence of color, invites the viewer to explore the image and construct a new perspective on these floral presences.
